Just a little update of what we've been up to that doesn't have a picture to go along with it. Peter is home from school, he had a great year and made a lot of new friends. He will probably make the Dean's List but only part of his grades have been posted. He is anxious to be on his mission. He needs to get his braces off and pull out his wisdom teeth and then he will turn in his papers. He starts work for the Park Service on Thursday. Alex was elected as Student Body Secretary a couple of weeks ago, he is excited and really seems to enjoy student government. The SB officers are going to Florida for a leadership conference in July. He is planning to continue working at Cowboy Blues and hopes to work at Subway also this summer. Between work, SB stuff and summer basketball he will be very busy. Jake and Caleb went on a backpacking trip with the boy scouts last weekend. They hiked "Box Death Hollow" they had a good time and had to make 30 river crossings because of all the spring run off. They came home wet, tired and very pleased with themselves. They are also on the same baseball team their first game is tomorrow! Jake has been invited to go to open gym with the high school basketball team it is his dream come true, he hasn't made it yet though because of baseball practice. Caleb is running for a class office for 7th grade next year and can't wait to be an Elementary graduate. He will be 12 in a couple of weeks and is looking forward to young mens and being a deacon. Adam is playing coach pitch baseball. Chris and Peter are his coaches. He had a nice hit out into center field and caught a pop fly at 3rd to get someone out in his first game. He is sure that he will be an amazing 3rd baseman just like his dad and big brother. He will be 8 in eight days and is excited to get baptized and get his own set of scriptures and only wants an Artic Fox webkin for his birthday. Caiti has been busy learning to read. She loves to send emails to her cousin and amaze us by adding "really big numbers" together. She insists on wearing lacy socks to her T=ball games "because they really do help her play better". Chris is ready for school to be out so he can enjoy the summer. He wants to fish daily and have a nice garden. He is sure that this year is the year our garden will actually grow something. I have been working a little extra to help out at work and since it is quiet in the ER right now I have a chance to blog. (Chris says I'm addicted)
