Alex went with the baseball team to a camp in Salt Lake on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It was sponsored by one of the high schools up there. His swing was video taped and analyzed by the coaches from the Salt Lake Bees and then they gave him some tips to help him improve. He was also coached by their first baseman. He went to a Bees game and got an autographed ball by one of the players who was just called up to the majors.
Jake went to BYU with the Basketball team on Thursday (Alex met them there after his baseball camp)they had a lot of fun. They played 18 games in 3 days, practiced their skills and got to hang out at the Taylor's house again. They are lucky that their coaches take such an interest in them and that they are willing to spend a good part of their summer helping the boys be better ball players. Jake is thrilled to be invited to work out with the basketball team even before he is in 9th grade. Basketball is his most favorite thing, he even sleeps with his ball.
