Runnig every which way

It has been an unusual week. Everybody has been going in different directions. Peter flew to Bull Frog to work and manned a floating visitor center and toured around Lake Powell. Poor baby...Airplane rides, boat trips, a darker tan and a paycheck - life is hard. He had only been back in Escalante a couple of hours and left again to go on a search and rescue.
Alex and Jake went to a basketball camp at the University of Utah for 4 days. They had a lot of fun and played 11 games. They stayed at Jerry Taylors house at night and played pool and soaked their muscles in the hot tub.
Caiti, Caleb and I have been taking dance lessons and we have had 2 big practices this week and then our end of the year dance recital was last night. It turned out really well. Chris danced with Caiti to "Apple of Daddy's Eye" it was a very sweet dance. Caiti loved it, she giggled all the way through. She felt very adored because she knows Chris doesn't like to dance and he did it just for her. She called him "Daddy of my Heart" and didn't let him our of her site for very long. Caleb and I tapped danced to "Jump, Jive and Wail" it was so much fun and a good work out too. For the finale all three of us danced to "Thriller" it was great.
Adam went to Day Camp Friday morning. He built a catapult, shot beebee guns and arrows and walked a rope monkey bridge and lots of other stuff. He said it was so much cooler than he expected. He is loving being a cub scout. I love being the cubmaster because I get to be with Adam.
It was weird only having 3 kids at home most of the week. I do enjoy watching them grow and do their own things though. Right now all 6 of them are sleeping soundly in their beds, they look very peaceful and content Oh how I love them.
