As a family we had Thanksgiving dinner one Sunday and then also had a Halloween party another night. We dressed up in costumes, ate chilli, did a little backwards trick or treating and watched "Watcher in the Woods!" The pictures all turned out really shadowy except for this one Pete took of Adam.

Pete and Kelsom Owens backpacked through Coyote Gulch. They had a good time being together before they both left on their missions. Pete cut up his hand lowering their packs down a gorge and is hoping it scars so he has a souvenir of the trip. The car they left at the end of the 20 mile hike had a dead battery when they finished hiking. So they pushed it up a hill hoping they could start it on the way back down when this didn't work they prayed for the strength to push it back up and try it again. They also prayed that it would work this time. Once they got it all the way up to the top a truck came along with jumper cables. (I guess faith without "works" is dead)

Pete spent a couple of days with his college friends who haven't left on missions already. They mostly just hung out but also did baptisms at the temple. He said he really enjoyed being able to baptize his friends.
