Family Vacation to Tropic Resevoir

We stayed at the Kings Creek campground. It is our favorite place to camp and even has the bonus flush toilets.

The 3 oldest boys stayed in their tents so the trailor wouldn't be too crowed. Alex had to sleep curled up in a ball because he is 2 feet longer than his tent. Maybe it's time for an upgrade.

The kids had a little fort in camp to play in. We played tons of card games, read and RELAXED!

We hiked Arches Trail in Losee Canyon it was a great hike and we all enjoyed the scenry and felt grateful that Heavenly Father created such a beautiful world for us.

We spent another day geo-caching, exploring, and watching wildlife (deer, elk and cows). We also went on a drive through Proctor Canyon (it was a 4 wheeler road but we took the saturn- so there were very narrow roads and drop offs)Chris and the kids said it was beautiful but I kept my eyes closed tight and held on to the door handle so tight by hands cramped up. I'm ok with being a wimp and giving them something to laugh at as long as we get all 4 tires back on flat ground.

We spent one afternoon fishing and playing at the resevoir.

Peter was the only one to catch any fish and one of them only counted as bait.

The fishing was good but the catching was bad, so the kids decided to take a swim!

BBRRRR that water was so cold!

Do I look like a SUPER MODEL?

Caleb's natural habitat is the water, he was the first one in and the last one out.

It was nice to fish by a stream and lazily dream while the clouds in the sky floated by. Camping, hiking and geo-caching are some of our favorite things to do in the summertime. It was a great vacation.
