Raeanne, Jeremy and their kids came for a visit for the weekend and brought their fourwheelers. We drove around for a while on Thursday then came back to watch Jake run a cross country race. He did really well. Each race he moves closer to the front of the pack.
Friday we left right after breakfast and rode around all day. We all really enjoyed the beautiful fall scenery. We stopped for a picnic lunch and to do some hiking a couple of times. We saw fossilized seashells and some petroglyphs. We were tired and dusty when we got back but we had a great day.
Saturday we watched conference together and took a fast drive between sessions. This time the ride went straight up the mountain and was narrow and rocky. It was a lot rougher and scared me to death, especially when we tipped backwards and had to pile out (I thought we were going to roll to our death)!
Sunday we watched conference together again. The kids were really quiet and colored almost the whole time. After Brother Holland spoke. Jarron said: "I don't know what he was talking about but it made my heart feel good!" I really enjoyed his talk too and the whole thing made my heart feel good.
We had a great weekend and really enjoyed having Raeanne and her cute family here. The kids played really good together and Caleb loved cuddling with Aliyah!
