Adam has been worried that there would be too much snow to hunt for leprechauns this year. The luck of the Irish must have been with him since the sun came out and melted most of the snow and it stayed cold enough that the field was not full of mud. Right after school on the 17th Adam, Cait, Jake and Caleb put their clothes on backwards (to make themselves invisible to leprechauns) and went out to check their traps they had set the day before. For the first time ever they actually found a leprechaun. He wasn't in a trap, he was under a large Cedar tree. Adam said that as soon as he saw him the little guy went all "plasticized" so that he wouldn't have to give up his gold. Adam and Caiti were so excited to actually have their own leprechaun they didn't even care about the "gold" treats a big leprechaun left inside the house for them after the hunt.
