Domestic Bliss

Fall has been very rewarding. This is the first year ever that we have been able to grow tomatoes in our garden. We usually have nice plants with plenty of blossoms and then never a single tomato. This year we actually got tomatoes!!!! I filled jars with salsa and chilli sauce to my hearts content. I also bottled tons of jam and jelly and peaches. Every jar I own is now full of home grown deliciousness. To top it off I finally made a decent pie crust. I have been trying to make a good pie for 22 years and was so pleased with how this peach pie turned out I just had to take its picture in case it never happend again. It wasn't just pretty it tasted lovely too. The fruit pizza just looked so yummy I threw its picture in just for fun. Now if I can just figure out how to keep my house clean I will be a very fulfilled woman!
